Gebiet/Lage:
Weinbaugebiet Amyndeon. “Schildkröten” in 640 - 650 m Seehöhe NW Ausrichtung zum Berg Voras.
Vinifikation/Ausbau:
Abbeeren, Kaltmazeration in kontrollierter Umgebung, Alkoholgärung bei abgestuften Temperaturen. Der Wein wird drei Monate auf den Hefen belassen und periodisch umgerührt. Anfangs wird der Wein 12 Monate in ausgewählten, französischen, feinporigen, mittelstark ausgebrannten Eichenfässern gelagert. Im Anschluss wird er in Flaschen abgefüllt und verbleibt dort 15 Monate bis zum Verkauf.
Degustationsnotiz:
Leuchtend tiefes Rubinrot mit violettem Schimmer. Kräftiges, komplexes Bukett, erdig, mit Waldbeeren-und Pfefferaromen. Im Geschmack großzügig, samtig, rund, ausgewogen, voll, mit Vanille- und Mokkaaromen. Ausgewogene und diskrete Töne beim Abgang. Der lang anhaltende Ausklang wird vor allem vom Verbleib von Milchkaramellbonbon-Aromen beherrscht. Ein Wein mit ausgezeichnetem Lagerpotential.
Trinkempfehlung:
Harmonischer Begleiter für alle saftigen dunklen Fleischsorten, gebratenen Pilze, Lammbraten, Wildgeflügel und ausgereiften, milden Weichkäsesorten.
Ideale Serviertemperatur: 16-18° C.
