1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through the online shop shop.the-greek.ch between Janni the Greek Shop and its customers.
By placing an order, the customer accepts these Terms and Conditions.
2. Contract conclusion
The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer.
A contract is concluded when we confirm the order, confirm the payment, dispatch the goods or deliver the goods.
We reserve the right to refuse or adjust orders in case of product shortages, pricing errors or unavailable products.
3. Prices
All prices are stated in Swiss francs (CHF) and include statutory Swiss VAT.
Shipping and delivery costs are shown separately during the checkout process.
4. Payment methods
Depending on availability, the following payment methods are offered:

In case of prepayment, dispatch or delivery takes place after receipt of payment.
5. Delivery and shipping
Delivery is made within Switzerland, either by Swiss Post or by our own delivery service, depending on the selected method.
Delivery times are indicative. We accept no liability for delays caused by third-party carriers.
6. Chilled and frozen products
We ensure appropriate packaging for chilled and frozen products.
The customer is responsible for accepting the delivery promptly and storing temperature-sensitive products correctly immediately after receipt.
We accept no liability for quality loss caused by delayed acceptance, parcels left after delivery, or incorrect storage by the customer.
7. Product availability
If a product is unavailable, we will inform the customer and may offer an alternative product, later delivery, refund or credit note by agreement.
8. Alcoholic products / age restrictions
Alcoholic beverages are sold only to persons who have reached the legally required minimum age.
By ordering alcoholic products, the customer confirms that they are legally entitled to purchase them. We reserve the right to carry out age checks.
9. Inspection and complaints
The customer must inspect the goods immediately upon receipt.
Damaged goods, incorrect deliveries or quality issues must be reported as soon as possible. If possible, please send photos of the product and packaging.
Each complaint is reviewed individually and we always try to find a fair solution.
10. Returns and withdrawal
Under Swiss law, there is generally no statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases.
Returns are only possible by prior agreement. In particular, food, fresh products, chilled products, frozen products, opened products and products with a short shelf life are excluded from return.
11. Retention of title
The goods remain the property of Janni the Greek Shop until full payment has been received.
12. Liability
Janni the Greek Shop is liable only for direct damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence.
Liability for indirect damages, consequential damages or damages caused by improper use or storage of products is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
13. Data protection
Personal data is used exclusively for processing orders, deliveries and customer enquiries.
Data processing is carried out in accordance with applicable Swiss data protection law.
14. Changes to these Terms
Janni the Greek Shop reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version published at the time of the order applies.
15. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is, to the extent permitted by law, the registered place of business of Janni the Greek Shop in Switzerland.

Return and Withdrawal Policy

1. General information
Under Swiss law, there is generally no statutory right of withdrawal or return for purchases made online.
Nevertheless, we review each case individually and try to find a fair and customer-friendly solution.
2. Product returns
Product returns are only accepted after prior contact and approval by Janni the Greek Shop.
Products must be unused, unopened, undamaged and in their original packaging.
3. Products excluded from return
For reasons of hygiene, food safety and quality, returns are not accepted for the following product categories:
• Fresh products
• Chilled products
• Frozen products
• Products with a short shelf life
• Opened products
• Used products
• Products that cannot be resold for hygiene or quality reasons
4. Chilled and frozen products
Chilled and frozen products must be accepted promptly and stored immediately at the appropriate temperatures.
We cannot accept returns or liability for products that have deteriorated due to delayed acceptance, parcels left after delivery, or incorrect storage by the customer.
5. Defective or incorrect products
If you receive an incorrect, damaged or clearly defective product, please contact us as soon as possible after receipt.
To process your request quickly, please send photos of the product, packaging and any external damage to the parcel, if available.
6. Return procedure
Before returning any product, prior contact with Janni the Greek Shop is required.
Unapproved returns cannot be accepted.
7. Return costs
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
8. Refund or credit
If a return is approved, a refund, product replacement or credit for a future order may be issued.
The form of compensation is determined depending on the case and by agreement with the customer.
